The incident, reported to us by a reader, occurred on Friday, September 7, a few minutes before 10 p.m. The driver of the passenger car was traveling from the viaduct toward the fire station. At the level of the old skatepark, the car veered left, then right, and entered the skatepark entrance. However, the car hit a fence, rolled over and came to a stop on its left side.
The driver and passenger were unharmed and got out of the vehicle under their own power. After a while, many young people gathered at the scene. Fortunately, no one was walking on the sidewalk or was at the skatepark when the incident occurred. The driver was probably traveling too fast and lost control of the vehicle on a bend in the road.
The police and ambulance arrived at the scene almost an hour later.
