I am writing to ask you to take an interest in the community houses in Bolesławiec municipality. More specifically, I mean the problem of the enormous noise during events held there.
I am one of the municipality’s residents living near a newly built community house. The municipality originally intended the community house to serve for residents’ meetings, village assemblies, and so on. However, the primary function of these facilities is now birthday parties, weddings and dances; all these events are accompanied by loud music.
And he added:
Residents living next to these facilities are enduring the nightmare of sleepless nights. [...] The community houses do not have certificates allowing loud music to be played in these facilities. They do not have adequate soundproofing, and the window panes are not energy-efficient. [...] For them it is a source of income, while for the residents it is torment.
The director of the Municipal Cultural and Sports Centre in Bolesławiec, based in Kruszyn, Janusz Cieśla:
[…] I hereby inform you that the community houses were built from certified construction materials in accordance with construction practice and in a manner appropriate for facilities with a similar purpose.
And he adds:
If it is established that tenants are disturbing the peace or public order, people living in the immediate vicinity should notify the relevant authorities, namely the police.
“For our part, I would like to assure you that we will respond every time to reports of a tenant disturbing public order and peace,” stresses J. Cieśla. “So far, the landlord has not received any reports of this kind.”
What do you think? Is there a problem or not? We invite you to join the discussion.
