The incident occurred on Tuesday, 4 September, at approximately 2:00 p.m., at the intersection of Góralska and Staszica streets.

The driver of an Opel Vectra, a 27-year-old from Osiecznica municipality, failed to stop at the stop sign and collided with a Ford van. The delivery vehicle overturned onto its side.

The Ford driver, a 64-year-old resident of Bolesławiec municipality, was taken to a hospital in Legnica with chest injuries. Three men travelling in the Opel—the driver, his brother and a friend—were taken to the Bolesławiec ZOZ. Fortunately, none of them suffered more serious injuries.

Both drivers were sober. The case will probably end up in court. The 27-year-old lost his driving licence.
