Both incidents occurred on Tuesday, September 4, at around 5:00 a.m. on the A4 motorway (at kilometre 52, in the direction of Zgorzelec). A 28-year-old man from Wrocław, driving a Citroën, failed to keep a safe distance and collided with the rear of a Volkswagen Golf.
A moment later, the driver of a Volkswagen Caddy, a 25-year-old resident of Świętokrzyskie Voivodeship, collided with the rear of the aforementioned Citroën.
Fortunately, no one suffered any more serious injuries. Both drivers responsible for the collisions were cautioned.
