The hearing scheduled for 31 August in Jelenia Góra could be decisive for Dominik, who last year injured his drunk mother and stabbed her drunk partner to death. We wrote about the case many times in our newspaper. We also supported the “Free Dominik” campaign of the Polish Psychopedagogical Society.
Dominik needs support in the courtroom on this important day, which will affect the rest of his life. He has not received much help during his twenty years of life. He experienced much suffering and humiliation at the hands of those closest to him. At the hearing, his mother declined to give testimony that could have incriminated her son and admitted that she regretted what had happened because it was all her fault. She added: “I destroyed his life.”
Dominik is waiting for a fair verdict. Dominik’s defense attorneys, Wojciech Kasprzyk and Małgorzata Gruszecka, urge those supporting Dominik to respect the solemnity of the Court and remain calm in the courtroom.
