A reader called us and informed us about a sinking storm drain on Chrobrego Street in Bolesławiec, level with Lidl, near the bus stop.
“If a truck drives over it at night, it makes a terrible noise. It jumps right up into the air,” a Bolesławiec resident told us. “If they do nothing about it, there will be an accident there.”
(The man had already reported the matter to the Bolesławiec Municipal Police. They forwarded the report to the road administrator).
It turned out on site that the condition of the neighboring storm drains also left much to be desired. We will appeal to the Lower Silesian Roads and Railway Service, which administers Chrobrego Street, to deal with the matter quickly.
We will return to this topic.
