Officers from the Criminal Department of the Zgorzelec District Police Headquarters, together with investigators from the Katowice CBŚP, detained a 19-year-old resident of Zgorzelec County suspected, among other things, of possessing narcotic substances.
The police secured nearly 1.2 kg of marijuana, hash oil, cocaine and ecstasy. Moreover, the 19-year-old had a gas pistol and ammunition for which he did not have a permit, as well as cigarettes without Polish excise duty markings.
The young man has already been charged. He confessed to the crime. At the request of the Zgorzelec prosecutor’s office, the court remanded the suspect in custody for three months.
The teenager could now face up to 10 years in prison.
