The incident occurred on Monday, August 13, before 5:00 p.m., on Starzyńskiego Street in Bolesławiec, near the Liliput store. The driver of a Toyota, a 53-year-old resident of Bolesławiec County, hit an 85-year-old woman from Złotoryja County while leaving a parking lot.
The woman suffered a broken arm and was taken to hospital. The incident was classified as an accident.
Police determined that the man performed the reversing maneuver improperly. However, he has not yet been penalized. Police are still investigating the matter.
