The incident occurred on Friday, August 10, in Gromadka Municipality. For undetermined reasons, a family dog attacked a 10-year-old girl and then her father, who was defending his daughter.
The 10-year-old was taken to hospital with head wounds. It is not yet known how serious her injuries are.
The emergency medical team called the police to the scene. (Since the resident of Gromadka Municipality had been attacked by her own dog, the officers’ role was limited solely to providing assistance.)
