Readability

The first issue, readability, is above all ease of reading. What does this aspect involve? Above all, a well-chosen typeface and font style, as well as the proper placement of text within the printed space. In the case of a flyer, we do not want to achieve the same readability as with continuous text. There, a steady reading rhythm plays an important role. Here, we must guide the customer's eyes from important information to more important information, but we cannot disrupt readability too noticeably, as this would produce the opposite of the intended effect.

Organization

This issue is inseparably connected with readability. No text will be easy to absorb if its organization creates chaos. The same applies to a flyer, which does not have a regular layout but should indicate the proper reading sequence. Every element that is to appear on the flyer must be placed in the right location and in the right order so that, by following the text, the customer can learn what we want to convey in a clear way that effectively encourages them to take advantage of the offer.

Navigation

This is connected with organization. It means guiding the reader's eyes through the successive parts of the text as a whole, while also grading the importance of the information. We must choose a fairly striking, attention-grabbing headline, while at the same time not forgetting the content, which should, by design, guide us from less important to the most important information.

Consistency

This is a very important characteristic of good advertising text. The consistency with which we place individual elements must be visible. We cannot allow stylistic or formal inconsistency in the arrangement of text on the flyer. Moreover, no flyer should be inconsistent in its typeface, except for the headline, which may use so-called display type, created specifically to highlight certain places in the text and attract attention. This is decorative type, which we should not use for the remaining text.

Text on a flyer is not only about writing and editing it, but also preparing it for printing. It is worth consulting specialists and asking for help to make sure that our flyer will be perfect in every respect. Its appearance can encourage potential customers to take a closer interest in our offer.
