The incident occurred on 6 August. The duty officer at the Lubin police received a report that a man was standing on a balcony and behaving very strangely. A patrol from the prevention department immediately went to the scene.
There, officers found a 45-year-old resident of Lubin whose behavior indicated that he was under the influence of drugs.
The officers called an emergency medical team. (The doctor confirmed the police officers’ suspicions.) The injured man was taken to hospital.
It turned out that the victim’s 39-year-old friend had added amphetamine to his alcohol without his knowledge or consent. In the friend’s car, officers found almost 40 doses of the drug.
The man has already been charged. He explained that he wanted to enhance the effect of the alcohol.
The 39-year-old could now face up to 10 years in prison.
