In an interview with the daily newspaper “Fakt” Artur Soboń, Deputy Minister of Investment and Development, said:

Personally, I believe that such people [bezdzietni kawalerowie – przyp. istotne.pl] should pay the “bachelor tax,” because it would encourage them to start a family. I say this half-jokingly, half-seriously, because I would like Mieszkanie+ to be primarily a program for families. However, in the law we worded it in such a way that subsidies will be paid not only to families in the classic sense of the word. There are various life circumstances.

The full interview can be read on the website of the daily newspaper “Fakt”.

What do you think? (It is worth adding that if the idea were implemented, the so-called bachelor tax would probably also have to be paid by the president of Law and Justice, Jarosław Kaczyński).
