On Wednesday, August 1, in the afternoon, officers from the Bolesławiec traffic police stopped a Ford passenger car for inspection. At the wheel was a 29-year-old man who had just been returning from the County Police Headquarters. (He had been there in connection with ongoing proceedings.)
As it turned out, the resident of the City of Ceramics was subject to a court-imposed driving ban, which he had received for driving while intoxicated.
The 29-year-old now faces up to five years in prison.
