District police officers from the Lubin station detained a drunk driver. They received a report from residents of one of the local housing estates, who noticed a staggering man getting into a Renault and trying to drive away. And when he drove into a hedge, they were certain that something was wrong.
The 48-year-old driver, a resident of our county, tried to hide from the uniformed officers in a stairwell. He was detained after a brief chase.
As it turned out, our fellow resident was completely drunk. He had over 3.2‰ of alcohol in his system.
The irresponsible driver could now face up to two years behind bars.
