Officers from the Bolesławiec County Police Headquarters, as part of international cooperation, received information that two construction machines had been stolen in Germany. The information provided indicated that the stolen property could be brought to Bolesławiec County.
While checking the city and county, officers from Bolesławiec found two construction machines. They were located on one of Bolesławiec’s side streets. The officers noticed a semi-trailer without a tractor unit, and when they looked inside, it turned out that there was a construction machine there. A check confirmed that it was property originating from a theft.
The second construction machine was found several dozen kilometres away, in a parking area next to a closed bar in Bolesławiec Commune. The vehicle had been left there and locked. The value of the recovered property was estimated at half a million zlotys. It turned out that both machines had been stolen during the night from the same location.
The officers will hand over the recovered telescopic loaders to their rightful owner. The circumstances of the case are currently being clarified by the police.
