The incident occurred on Thursday, July 12. The duty officer of the Bolesławiec Municipal Police received a report about a roe deer trapped in a fence on Matejki Street. The municipal police officers sent to the scene found the animal trapped between two concrete fences and unable to free itself.
Through the duty officer, a veterinarian was called to the scene and administered sedatives to the animal. The assistance of firefighters was also necessary; after removing part of the concrete fence, they freed the roe deer. Following a veterinary consultation, the municipal police officers transported the animal to a veterinary clinic.
