The incident occurred on Wednesday afternoon in Radoniów. A few minutes after 3 p.m., the duty officer at the District Command Post of the State Fire Service in Lwówek Śląski received a report from local residents.
A small roe deer became trapped between the steel bars of a fence.
The roe deer could not get out
The animal most likely jumped between the bars without realizing the danger. The roe deer remained wedged in the fence for quite some time.
Fortunately, it did not suffer any serious injuries.
A unit of the Lubomierz Volunteer Fire Department was dispatched to the scene. The firefighters had to use hydraulic equipment to bend the steel bars apart and free the animal. It quickly disappeared into the nearby forest.
