On Wednesday (11 July), officers from the County Police Headquarters in Bolesławiec received an unusual report. The information concerned a traffic hazard on a provincial road in Gmina Osiecznica. A large swan family was walking across the entire width of the road.
Two adult swans and five cygnets posed a danger to themselves and other road users. Bolesławiec police officers, the head of Gmina Osiecznica and firefighters from OSP Parowa arrived at the scene. The swans were safely escorted, and drivers were able to use provincial road no. 350 without difficulty.
