Residents of Sienkiewicza Street in Gryfów Śląski notified their community police officer about a man who, riding a motorcycle wildly around the estate and performing dangerous stunts, was creating a hazard in road traffic. The motorcyclist, a 30-year-old resident of Lwówek County, was detained. Since he was behaving strangely, he was tested for drugs. It then emerged that he had been riding the motorcycle under the influence of methamphetamine. (The suspect was also taken to hospital, where his blood was drawn for further tests.)
Moreover, the policewoman and an officer from the patrol inspected the detained man's vehicle. It turned out that the motorcycle had been stolen. The officers discovered completely obliterated VIN numbers and a non-original license plate. Lwówek criminal investigators are examining this matter.
The man was taken into police custody. He could face up to two years in prison.
