The second-division team Polish sports bridge championship for the 2008/2009 season concluded last weekend. BKB Prnjavor finished in a respectable 12th place.
Their survival in the second division was decided by matches played in a play-off format. In the contest for ninth place, the Bolesławiec players lost to Silesia Gliwice. BKB Prnjavor ultimately finished 12th, defeating Konfeks Legnica.
BKB Prnjavor secured its place in the second division for the third consecutive year. Our team consisted of: Jarosław Molenda (captain), Jerzy Olenderek, Antoni Ochot, Artur Winkler, Wiesław Tabiszewski, Lech Warężak, Marek Drecki, Sławomir Zimniak and Andrzej Kaźmierczak.
