While on the staircase of a multi-family residential building in Jelenia Góra, officers detected a distinct smell of marijuana. It turned out that the smell was coming from an apartment inhabited by a 24-year-old man.

In the apartment, officers found four types of narcotics in a wardrobe and under the bed: amphetamine, marijuana, hashish and five ecstasy tablets. (Around 50 retail doses in total).

The officers are currently determining where the drugs came from and whether the 24-year-old was involved in their distribution. The suspect was detained and taken to police custody. He now faces up to three years in prison.
