On July 2, the duty officer of the Bolesławiec Municipal Police received a report from a Bolesławiec resident who was walking along Karkonoska Street. The man noticed a white canvas bag in the Młynówka. He pulled it out of the water using a rake. As it turned out, the bag contained a mixed-breed female dog. She was already dead.
A police patrol was called to the scene and is conducting further activities in the case. The perpetrator could face up to five years in prison.

A dog owner has many responsibilities, and an animal is not a toy to be discarded when we get bored with it. Let us remember that dogs must be vaccinated against rabies once a year and that we must clean up after our pets during walks.
