Officers from the prevention department of the Lubin police received a report that a scuffle between two men had occurred in one of the localities in Lubin Municipality.
At the scene, the officers noticed burning wood and car parts. They established that the argument had broken out between brothers. One of them set fire to the car parts and destroyed his brother’s laptop by throwing a toolbox at it. He then fled the scene.
The vandal was quickly detained. It turned out that the 33-year-old was drunk; he had more than 2 per mille of alcohol in his system. He was taken to police custody.
The 33-year-old resident of Lubin Municipality now faces up to five years in prison.
