Let us recall Gracjan Kozak’s more important achievements Gracjan Kozak, a Bolesłavia athlete:

  • as a youth athlete, he became the Polish runner-up, breaking the Lower Silesian record (1 kg discus – 61.67 m)
  • this year’s results: shot put (5 kg) – 18.73 m; discus throw (1.5 kg) – 58.16 m
  • during the June Polish LZS Championships, he became the national champion in the discus throw and runner-up in the shot put. (He is also the Lower Silesian champion in these events.)

Gracjan trains in the throwing group led by teacher and coach Tomasz Markowski. Competing at the European Championships is a great distinction for our athlete. His predecessors from the throwing group won many Polish Championship medals. They also competed in international events: Roksana Drab in the javelin throw at the World Gymnasiade in France; Agnieszka Dalmata in the discus throw; Dawid Kopała in the hammer throw in international matches; Kacper Olszewski in the European qualification event for the Olympic Games, where he finished fifth.

We are keeping our fingers crossed for the best possible performance by the Bolesłavia athlete and Polish representative at the European Championships.
