Officers from the Criminal Department of the Bolesławiec County Police Headquarters, conducting activities related to a series of basement burglaries, detained a 22-year-old man. The man is suspected of committing at least six crimes.
The incidents occurred in various locations across the City of Ceramics. The perpetrator stole various items from basements, ranging from jars of preserves to power tools.
Police recovered some of the stolen property, including a wheeled suitcase that the 22-year-old used to transport the loot.
The suspect, who had previously been convicted of theft and drug-related offenses, confessed to the crime. He now faces up to 10 years in prison.
