Officers from the Traffic Division of the District Police Headquarters in Bolesławiec stopped a car for inspection in the municipality of Nowogrodziec. It was being driven by a 26-year-old man. It turned out that the driver had three active court-imposed driving bans. He now faces up to 5 years in prison.
What is more, it emerged that the passenger had also been convicted of driving under the influence of alcohol. Furthermore, the 31-year-old resident of the Nowogrodziec municipality was wanted by the Bolesławiec court. The man was due to serve a prison sentence.
The older of the two detainees was sent to prison for 4 months.
