The incident occurred on Monday, June 18, at around 9:00 a.m., in a building on Dolne Młyny Street in Bolesławiec. Officers received a report about a woman calling for help from the balcony of one of the apartments. She was screaming at the top of her lungs.
At the police’s request, fire service units were dispatched to the scene. Firefighters from KP PSP Bolesławiec lent the officers hydraulic tools, which the officers used to gain entry to the apartment.
Inside the apartment, police found a man and... large quantities of marijuana. Why the woman was calling for help from the balcony is unknown. There is a suspicion that both of them—the 25-year-old woman and the 21-year-old man, residents of the City of Ceramics—were under the influence of drugs.
The 21-year-old was arrested. He has already been charged with drug possession and violating the bodily integrity of officers. (The man actively resisted arrest.)
He now faces a prison sentence of up to three years. We will return to the subject.
