Officers from the Criminal Investigation Department of the Bolesławiec District Police Headquarters are conducting proceedings in a case concerning the theft of a bicycle worth over PLN 2,500. The incident occurred in April 2018.
“After an image of the person suspected of the theft was published, Bolesławiec police officers received information from internet users about the man’s identity,” the officers say. The 34-year-old from the Nowogrodziec municipality was arrested. He has already been charged with stealing the bicycle.
The man faces up to five years in prison. Efforts to recover the stolen property are ongoing.
