The incident occurred on Wrocławska Street in Jelenia Góra. The man decided to burn several dozen kilograms of documents. When the fire had taken hold, plant and wooden waste was also thrown onto it. The smoke was visible from several hundred metres away. Municipal guards patrolling Wrocławska Street decided to check where the smoke was coming from.
At the scene, they found a man burning waste. They ordered him to extinguish the fire immediately. (A large amount of plant waste, varnished wood and chipboard had already been prepared next to the fire for burning.)
The man was fined.
