The incident occurred on Friday, May 18, on Jana Pawła II Street in Bolesławiec, in the evening. The 44-year-old woman, driving a passenger car, hit a parked vehicle, damaging both her own car and the victim’s vehicle.
A witness to the incident apprehended the woman and notified the police. It turned out that the person responsible for the collision was drunk; she had more than 2‰ of alcohol in her system.
The case will be decided in court. The woman may face up to two years in prison.
