Our Readers asked us to address the lack of a pavement between Bolesławiec and Łaziska (Bolesławiec municipality). They wanted to be able to walk safely between these places. (After all, such a pavement was built along the road between the City of Ceramics and Kruszyn.) This is also about safe access to the new housing estate on Kresów II RP Street.
Czy pomiędzy Łaziskami a Bolesławcem powinien być chodnik?
Is it possible? Let us give the floor to Roman Jaworski, deputy head of the municipal authorities:
Since 2016, Bolesławiec municipality has been taking steps to build a pavement from Łaziska to Bolesławiec along provincial road no. 363. As early as February 2016, the municipality’s budget secured funds for preparing design documentation for a pedestrian and cycle path along this section, also including an active pedestrian crossing within the village. Talks had also already been held with the city about a possible connection to the pavement on Kosiby Street. However, until the construction of the roundabout on this route is completed, the investment has been suspended, as this project has a significant impact on the technical conditions on the basis of which such a pavement can be built.
The deputy mayor adds:
Meanwhile, the design work concerning the crossing in Łaziska is nearing completion.
We will return to this topic.
