Main responsibilities:

  • administering and managing IT equipment assigned to the District Police Headquarters and subordinate units in a manner ensuring its proper operation (network devices, servers, terminals, UKSP, access stations, PCs and printers)
  • resolving current problems reported by users of IT systems at the Headquarters and subordinate units
  • training users of IT systems at the Headquarters and subordinate units
  • performing ongoing service repairs of IT equipment, qualifying equipment for repairs at service centers, and periodically securing data
  • ensuring the security and protection of communications systems in use and encryption-code devices
  • repairing faults occurring in internal installations used at the Headquarters and subordinate units
  • performing tasks arising from applicable occupational health and safety and fire protection regulations concerning the operation of communications equipment
  • maintaining records of the tangible assets of the District Police Headquarters in Bolesławiec concerning IT equipment, in accordance with applicable regulations and in a manner enabling the accurate determination of inventory levels and movements
  • issuing consumable materials
  • preparing and submitting lists of communications and IT equipment intended for disposal
  • periodically performing activities preceding the efficient and regulation-compliant inventory of IT equipment
  • maintaining records of privately owned equipment and IT software used for official purposes at the Headquarters and subordinate units
  • serving as the IT security inspector at the Headquarters as part of the tasks of the “protection division”
  • serving as the local LAN administrator and K-2 Lite encryptor in the PSTDN network at the District Police Headquarters in Bolesławiec.

Essential requirements:

  • education: secondary
  • professional experience/work experience: one year of experience working in communications and IT.

Other essential requirements:

  • ability to organize one’s own work
  • ability to draft letters
  • ability to work in a team
  • independence and responsibility in performing assigned tasks
  • proficiency in using computers (Windows environment, MS Office, Internet).

Desirable requirements

  • education: higher education in telecommunications and IT
  • knowledge of the Civil Service Act.

The proposed salary is PLN 2,351.48 gross per month, based on a base amount of PLN 1,873.84 and a multiplier of 1.2549 of the base amount, plus a length-of-service allowance.
