Operational police officers from the Bolesławiec unit, conducting operations aimed at combating drug-related crime, detained two men. One of them was a 20-year-old resident of Bolesławiec, who was detained immediately after buying drugs.
The other was a 43-year-old dealer. At his apartment, officers seized a significant quantity of narcotics. In the kitchen, inside a box lying on the table, they found a crystalline substance and money. During a further search of the apartment, they seized four colorful tablets, a chewing-gum package that also contained drugs, as well as a spoon for portioning, scales and foil for packaging.
Tests of the seized substances confirmed that they were narcotics, specifically ecstasy tablets and 850 saleable doses of methamphetamine, commonly known as “piko”.
By decision of the District Prosecutor’s Office in Bolesławiec, the 43-year-old is under police supervision and has been banned from leaving the country. The older suspect could face up to ten years in prison. His customer faces up to three years in prison.
