Polkowice police officers, acting on the orders of the District Court in Lubin, detained a 42-year-old resident of Polkowice who was wanted because he had to serve a prison sentence for theft.

The 49-year-old female acquaintance of the criminal, seeing the police patrol escorting him toward the police car, moved toward the officers. First, she began insulting them, and then she started jostling them. She tried to free her acquaintance.

The woman was subdued and taken to a police cell. As it turned out, she was drunk. She had more than 1.2 parts per mille of alcohol in her breath.

The woman from Polkowice could now face up to three years in prison.
