The initiative related to the Emergency Corridor campaign, initiated among others by volunteer firefighters from Czerna (Nowogrodziec municipality), was announced during a press conference by Minister of Infrastructure Andrzej Adamczyk, Deputy Minister Marek Chodkiewicz and Secretary of the National Road Safety Council Konrad Romik.

“The development of Poland’s motorway and expressway network presents us with new road safety challenges. That is why we want to help Polish drivers develop habits that improve safety on motorways and expressways,” Minister A. Adamczyk stressed.

Questions about emergency corridors could, for example, be included among the questions in the driving licence exam.
