The incident occurred on April 11, shortly before 7 p.m. The duty officer at the Lubin police station received information that three men were demolishing cars parked near the allotment gardens. Officers from the prevention department quickly detained two perpetrators, while the third was apprehended by officers after a brief pursuit.
The vandals turned out to be three residents of Lubin, aged 20 and 17. They damaged four vehicles by kicking them and tearing off their mirrors. The initial losses were estimated at more than PLN 3,000. Interestingly, the young men were unable to rationally explain why they had done it.
The three of them could now face up to five years behind bars.
