Police officers from the prevention department, while on duty on Wrocławska Street in Legnica, noticed a driver who, while driving a VW Sharan, began making very nervous steering movements. The officers stopped him for a check.
From the beginning of the intervention, the driver behaved very nervously, was unable to answer questions logically and was distracted.
The result? The officers tested the 37-year-old from Jawor with a drug test. The officers' suspicions were confirmed—the man had got behind the wheel under the influence of drugs. What's more, he had methamphetamine with him.
The man was arrested and taken to police custody. He could now face a sentence of up to three years in prison.
