It is spring, and that means we have fairly high temperatures during the day. This causes some drivers to lose their vigilance. At night, they feel just as safe on the road as they do during the day. This is a mistake, because the nights are still cold. The road surface may be slippery, and then it is very easy to lose control of the car, especially when speed limits are not observed.

That is exactly what happened this weekend. On the night from Friday to Saturday, a 28-year-old resident of Zgorzelec County, driving a passenger car, veered off the road and hit a tree. Moreover, he was subject to a court-ordered driving ban.

On the night from Saturday to Sunday, on the road leaving Bolesławiec toward Kraśnik Dolny, a 24-year-old man from Bolesławiec County lost control of his car, veered off the road and hit a concrete post. A 34-year-old female passenger was injured in the accident; she suffered a collarbone injury.

On Sunday, meanwhile, a 38-year-old resident of Legnica County veered off the road and hit a tree on the road between Gromadka and Osła.

In all cases, those responsible were sober but driving too fast. The officers appeal: ease off the gas!
