At the end of January, perpetrators stole two farm tractors with slurry tankers from the S3 road construction site. During investigative activities, police officers handling the case established the location where the men suspected of the theft were hiding.
Two residents of Legnica County were arrested. Based on the collected evidence, the suspects have already been charged with theft. Police officers from Polkowice also found the stolen tractors in Zielona Góra County and recovered the missing slurry tankers.
The District Court in Lubin, after reviewing the evidence collected by officers from the County Police Headquarters in Polkowice, temporarily remanded both suspects in custody: one for a month and the other for two months.
Two receivers of stolen goods will also stand trial. (They are residents of Legnica and Zielona Góra counties.)
The value of the recovered property exceeds PLN 110,000. Officers do not rule out further arrests.
