Polkowice police received a report about a man who was repeatedly striking the door of an apartment with a crowbar. The man was arrested. It turned out that the 76-year-old had wanted to enter the premises, where his wife and the other members of the family were staying, using the tool in question. While hitting the door, the arrested man threatened the family members that he would kill them.
The man was charged with mentally and physically abusing his wife, making criminal threats against her and the other family members, as well as damaging property.
By decision of the Lubin District Prosecutor’s Office, the aggressor was placed under police supervision and banned from approaching the victims. The resident of Polkowice now faces up to five years in prison.
