Update
As we read on the website of the Bolesławiec County Headquarters of the State Fire Service:
Two units and an operations officer were dispatched from JRG Bolesławiec. A unit from OSP Wierzbowa was also called. At the scene, it turned out that an Opel Tigra passenger car had hit a steel barrier over a small stream beside the road. One of the people traveling in the car was trapped because of the severely damaged bodywork.
Firefighters freed the injured woman using hydraulic equipment and a saw for cutting concrete and steel. They evacuated her from the damaged car, provided medical assistance and then handed her over to the emergency medical team.
During the operation, the Polish Medical Air Rescue service was called to the scene. After the injured person was stabilized, it took her to the hospital. The police also took part in the operation.
