The “SpoKREWnieni służbą” campaign was launched on 1 March 2017, on the National Remembrance Day of the Cursed Soldiers. The date of 1 MARCH was chosen deliberately. It is a public holiday established in honour of the soldiers of the anti-communist armed underground who shed their blood defending Poland’s independence.
– Officers of the MSWiA and MON services are taking part in the blood drive for a noble cause. Anyone who wants to donate blood can also support the campaign – say the uniformed services personnel from Bolesławiec.
On Tuesday, 27 March, a blood drive was held at the Complex of Commercial and Service Schools in Bolesławiec, in the so-called bloodmobile of the Regional Blood Donation and Blood Treatment Centre in Wałbrzych.
Officers from the District Police Headquarters in Bolesławiec, together with firefighters from the Bolesławiec KP PSP and military personnel, donated blood for a noble cause.
