Regardless of what kind of physical activity you do and, unfortunately, regardless of where you live, especially during this first period of spring it is worth taking care to protect our skin.
Unhealthy
More and more—and increasingly loudly—is being said about air pollution in our country. Smog alarm bells are ringing more and more insistently. And really, regardless of whether you are alarmists and hypochondriacs who equipped yourselves with anti-smog masks long ago, or whether this information does not stress you at all and you still calmly go about your lives, it is worth—and necessary—to always take care of your facial skin. Facial care is so enormously important primarily because this is the part of our body that is constantly exposed to contact with bacteria, viruses and all sorts of other germs. Did you know that most of “that” is found primarily on your phone? And where do we hold our phones? Either in our hands or against our faces. While in the case of hands it is enough to invest in a decent disinfectant, facial care is somewhat more demanding.
What and in what order
Facial-care cosmetics generally take up more than one shelf in a drugstore. It is worth remembering that you need to start with thorough facial cleansing. Here we can choose from gels, various types of scrubs, cleansing masks, foams and the like. Only after this initial cleansing (preceded, of course, by removing makeup with a suitable liquid or special wipes) can we proceed to toning the skin and using the remaining facial products.
A good cream is the foundation
It is worth remembering this and not buying the first cream that happens to fall into our hands. Nowadays, drugstores such as Kontigo store offer a truly wide selection in this area. So it is worth choosing a cream for dry, oily or combination skin—or perhaps one for skin with vascular problems. Maybe the time has come, as it has in my case, to become friends with an anti-ageing version. In any case, check out the selection yourself and choose something for you. Remember that day cream is for use during the day, while night cream has its own specific purpose. First, it is worth choosing creams according to our skin’s needs, and second, following what is written on the product label (and not confusing day with night, for example).
