Bolesławiec police received information that wiretapping microphones had been installed at the Intermarché store. On Thursday, police officers, together with the Państwowa Inspekcja Pracy, entered the store and discovered three microphones. They were located in the sales area, where customers are present. Police operational materials indicate that there were stickers next to the microphones informing people about them, although they were visible only to staff.

The microphones were dismantled. The president of Intermarché explains that the microphones were intended to improve customer service because customers had complained about the staff. In an interview with TVN24, the president also said that the microphones had been operating for six months and that employees knew about them.

For now, police cannot say whether a crime was committed.
