Officers from the County Police Headquarters in Bolesławiec detained a 34-year-old man suspected of a series of thefts. The detainee started working at a new company as a forklift operator on February 1 and, after just two weeks, robbed his employer. First, he stole branded clothing, then computer memory modules.
The losses were estimated at nearly PLN 4,000. At the suspect’s apartment, the officers secured some of the stolen property and also recovered clothing that the detainee had already managed to sell.
The 34-year-old resident of Bolesławiec admitted his guilt and gave a statement. He could now face up to five years behind bars.
