Lower Silesian WOPR is organising a water lifeguard course in Bolesławiec. An organisational meeting will be held on 8 April at 10:00, at the II Private Lower Secondary School at 6 Bankowa Street. The swimming component of the course will take place at the Bolesławiec Water Park – Orka.

The water lifeguard course is being held in accordance with the applicable regulations. After completing the training, participants obtain the qualifications to work as water lifeguards at all bodies of water in Poland.

To have the full right to work, participants must also complete the KPP course (Qualified First Aid) and hold a licence useful in water rescue. This is a great alternative for good swimmers who can obtain a fully recognised profession relatively quickly and inexpensively, says Maciej Marcinkiewicz, a WOPR rescue instructor.

Everyone interested is invited to take part in the course.
