The man was arrested on March 14, at around 7:30 p.m., on Śpiewna Street in Legnica. The Daewoo Matiz passenger car driving ahead of the police officers was slowing down and then speeding up, while simultaneously moving toward the right edge of the road and driving onto the grass verge. The officers immediately took action to stop the driver. As it turned out, he was completely drunk. A breathalyzer test showed nearly 3‰ of alcohol in his system.
The man lost his driving licence. He could now face up to two years in prison.
