One of the residents of Pionierska Street in Jelenia Góra was poisoning his neighbours by burning waste in his furnace. Eventually, a report was received by the municipal police dispatcher.
The man was apprehended. It turned out that he had stored a large quantity of chipboard from dismantled furniture in his basement. He used it to fuel the furnace. The Jelenia Góra resident was fined and ordered to dispose of the boards in accordance with the applicable regulations.
“It is worth adding that last week, after taking a sample from the furnace grate in one of the buildings on Myśliwska Street in Jagniątków, municipal police officers uncovered the burning of waste in the form of electrical cables,” says Artur Wilimek, press spokesperson for the SM in Jelenia Góra. “In this case, the matter was referred to court.”
