The incident occurred on Wednesday, March 7, on the road between Lwówek Śląski and Wleń. The driver of a scheduled bus skidded on a bend in the road. The vehicle ended up suspended over a road culvert.
In addition to the driver, three passengers were traveling on the bus. Fortunately, no one was hurt. Firefighters helped all four people get out of the vehicle.
Emergency services are still working at the scene. As asp. szt. Mateusz Królak, press officer of the County Police Headquarters in Lwówek Śląski, informed us, the difficulties may continue for some time. The services are waiting for roadside assistance to arrive. Until then, traffic on this section will proceed in alternating directions.
The bus driver will probably be fined.
