The incident occurred on Monday, March 5, on Kościuszki Street, near the vehicle inspection station. The 24-year-old driver of an Audi failed to yield to a 44-year-old man driving a Citroën. A collision occurred, as a result of which both drivers and the Citroën passenger were injured. All three were taken to hospital. The incident was classified as an accident.
Both drivers are residents of Bolesławiec County, and both were sober.
